School Trips
School Trips for Primary Schools!
As the Digital Age continues to make our lives easier, research has shown that people of all ages are spending more time in front of screens than ever before.
At Arial Trail we believe that young people need time away from screens to get active in order to maintain good physical and mental health, this is why we provide School Trips for Primary Schools.
How?
Physical benefits of School trips for Primary Schools – Taking on the course allows students to traverse across various wobbly obstacles, they use lots of muscle groups to maintain balance.
As well as the course we also offer a walking tour of the surrounding area which is steeped in history dating as far back as the doomsday book and the Roman Empire.
The walk allows everyone to stretch their legs back on solid ground and get thinking about the history of the area around them. Mental Health benefits– The course allows students to push themselves out of their comfort zone.
Completing the course often gives students a great sense of achievement and pride. We will work closely with you to make sure your school gets the most out of your visit.
What do we provide for Primary Schools?
Your group will have exclusive use of the High Ropes Course. We will provide all safety equipment such as harnesses and rope rollers.
A minimum of two qualified instructors will be onsite at all times. You then also have the option to add;
- The History walk, focusing on where high ropes originated and the roman history of the local area.
- Team building activities.
Large groups spending the whole day with us can be split into two smaller groups with one group starting the day on the course whilst the other takes on the walk and or team building.
We would then break for lunch (picnic tables available) and then the groups would swap over.
